New user says his account is not live after a week

Hi admin, I have just been sent a personal email asking for help from someone who has tried to register on this forum. He says his application is still 'pending'. User name was 'Ian'. Can you check if this is somehow mislaid and explain what he needs to do to activate his account. Let me know and I will pass on the message.

Hi Quentin,

Many thanks for informing us of the situation. It looks like their was an issue with the email validation process on sign up. All sorted now, and we have duly activated 'Ians' account. He should be able to log in and start posting.

If he has any further issues please let us know.
