Hello from Bristol and Somerset

Hello fellow Bristol and Somerset Book-keepers!

I run a small book-keeping business and have a number of clients around Bristol, Taunton, W-s-M and surrounding areas!

The reason for my spread of clients is due to the numerous networking events (usually breakfast events) I have been attending in these areas!

Having read the other local posts I was wandering how many forum members we have in the area to see if a local book-keepers club would be of interest to any like minded people.

I look forward to your comments.

Hope everybody is having a relaxed Sunday.

Thanks Ross

Hi Ross, I am in Bristol also have only just started up so still awaiting my first client, have one in the pipeline so just waiting on confirmation.

How long have you been in business? Networking is something I would love to do but being at home with 2 toddlers means most meetings are not convenient for me!

Hello,

I'm in the Bristol area but also have a few clients Taunton way. Yes would be good to see how many other bookkeepers there are around in our area.

I grew up in Taunton. I remember going to a cafe between Taunton and Bristol on A38. The owner made amazing apple pie and was into old English sheep dogs. memories

Hello fellow west-countryers...

I guess there must be more than 3 /4 of us in the local area but its good to know were not alone.

Only been going around 3 months full time but have been trying to build part time for a while.  I think the more we put in the more will get out eventually, but it is hard with other commitments as Pamela says.

We'll have to wait and see if any more locals comment in the future.

Ross
