Hello Everyone

Hi All,

My Name is Neil, i run a small but very efficient bookkeeping practice on the outskirts of Edinburgh. I came across this site by accident a couple of months ago and have finally found time to register and introduce myself. (My wife has just had our second child, managed to get used to the lack of sleep).

I've worked with accounts for nearly 12 years and decided at the start of 2009 to venture out by myself and start working for myself. I'm fully qualified and have a registered practice with the ICB, my intention is to continue with my studies towards becoming a Chartered Accountant - although this is a couple of years away.

I hope to be able to pass on any advice / guidance where possible.

Kind Regards

Neil G

Hi Neil,

welcome to the site.

Plenty of PQ's on here. Many trapped in that no mans land between qualifications and post qualification supervised experience. Good luck with that one especially choosing the ICAS route.

Congratulations on the new addition.

Looking forwards to chatting / debating various threads over the coming months.

All the best,

Shaun.
