Hello Everyone

Hi Everyone

Just saying hello, I've been lurking around here for a bit and think its a really helpful site.

I'm setting up, or at least thinking about it, my jobs looking increasingly shaky and I would really like to work for myself although its not the best time to be starting out I agree!!

I'm ICB qualified to level 3, I have passed AAT payroll exams but don't have any practical experience to be honest, I have also got quite a lot of HR experience, I drew up all our policies and health and safety gubbins at work. So I am hoping to be able to market quite a few aspects to people.

I am looking to get practical payroll experience but don't know how to get it and would like to learn how to complete tax returns as well.

If I can help anyone with anything I would be happy to.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

It can be a good time to start out, selling your experience to people who need to spend their time selling their services rather than spending their time doing their books - easier said than done I know but thats the ESP for us guys. Its tough at any time, winning business is not easy but worth it when it comes....

Good luck with it all.

P
