volunteering to get experience.

Hello,

I work full time as a delivery driver and want to change to bookkeeping. I am reading the Osbourne books for level 2 and watching videos as a way of learning. I thought that getting a volunteer job would be a good way to get practice. I did think about charity, but not sure where else or even if charities would need or take on an accountant.

Any ideas or advice would be great!

Thanks

Simon

See other post.
Why bookeeping? How can you volunteer if you work full time? Volunteers/trainees take a lot of hand holding so what is in it for the employer, other than additional work. Try getting a training contract. Lots of posts about this.
