The practice is looking for a new client facing director to take over an existing portfolio of clients and assist in the building of the future client base of the practice. They are looking to attract a career focused professional with demonstrable skills and attitude who is either already a Partner/ Director or is likely to progress to Partner/ Director status within 12 - 18 months. Due to the nature of the client base, a key element to this role is the ability to deliver the highest quality of advice in order to maintain the reputation on which the firm pride themselves.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:

• ACA qualified 
• Have extensive post qualification experience
• Have a general practice background dealing with varied clients with experience which includes providing accounts and tax advice.
• Have audit experience with the audit qualification and is able to progress to becoming an RI if not one already. 
• A pragmatic approach and customer service focus
• Strong commercial acumen/ practical and exposure to disposals & acquisitions. 
• Self-motivated and eager to succeed with ambitions to reach Director level
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships with a wide variety of clients, and be proactive when networking and business developing. 
• Up to date tax knowledge (both personal and corporate)

The Preston Office is a highly reputable and well-established practice with strong roots in the Preston area. The practice is an approved ICAEW/ACCA training office and employs approximately 30 staff. The client portfolio is predominantly family owned SME businesses.
