Our client is a fast paced, multi-site retailer that is consistently first to market with new trends and products. A household name, this innovative company is seeking a talented, ambitious individual to lead its commercially-focused finance team.

The Head of FP&A must be able to forecast clearly, set targets and produce world-class management information. Effective communication is essential; the Head of FP&A should be confident in translating the numbers and providing valuable business partnering to our Regional Managers, as well as insight and analysis in parent group reporting. The FP&A Team is an integral part of the decision-making process and is responsible for full profit and loss analysis, providing relevant insight and formulating strategies to drive performance.

Who we're looking for

We are looking for a motivated, passionate and target-orientated individual. You will be self motivated and a creative leader, with a track record of success.

We require:

A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with leadership experience gained in a commercial role within a finance function

Previous experience gained in a fast paced commercial environment, ideally multi-site

A track record of initiating change and influencing the business

An intellectually sound approach to decision making 

Proven relationship and business partnering skills 

Technically strong financial and management accounting skills 

Strong modelling and PC skills with proven proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

A clear, succinct and articulate oral and written communication style

Strong project management skills would be desirable
