FREE OU certificate in accounting text books

Hi I am getting rid of the open university certificate in accounting workbooks, they are 18 months old and from when the cert in accounting was a full course. They are the financial accounting part. Immaculate condition - mostly completely unused - I though I would ask if anyone wanted them on here rather than put them straight in to the recyling.

They are free but you would have to pay for the postage to you, probably around £10.00 as they are very heavy and quite a few books.

Let me know if you want them

Rachel

Hi Rachel,

I've already got my own copy but for anyone else reading this and don't know the course material they are excellent for any accountancy qualification (ICB, IAB, AAT, first levels of ACCA, CIMA, etc.). In fact, if you pass this incredibly expensive and well regarded course you get exemptions from parts of the afore mentioned qualifications (i.e ACCA papers F1, F2 and F3).

One thing though Rachel, my version of the texts quite regularly refers to the CD almost as though only half of the course is in the books. Assuming that this has not changed are you also including the accompanying CD with the course books?

At £2500 for the course (I'm thinking here of the full B680) it would be a real crime for these to end up shredded so please someone give them a good home.

Kind regards,

Shaun.

I am studying ICB level III Manual with Ideal Schools - just doing a few mocks before I sit the actual exam.

Do these workbooks go beyond that? Eventually I hope to go on after I pass the ICB level III (level IV or AAT) - would they be any use for that?

Hi Rachel

I`m interested (but only if Peasie isnt, he got there first after all!)

I`m currently L3 IAB, and want to continue my studies either with IAB or IFA. A quick search of the internet leads me to think this book(s) would really help.

Many thanks

Claire

Hi Claire, could you post your email address on here and I will email you.

Hi Shamus, I have not looked at them for a while so I'm not sure if they have a cd.

Thanks for your interest, it does seem a waste to recycle but I have no room or need for them

I am desperately looking for these books. I received my B190 Open University course books as a PDF file as well. If they did that when you did your course and you still have the file would it be possible to email it to me? It would be such a great help.
