Time to say hello

Hello all i've been looking at the forum for a bit and feel your a really helpful lot.

So abit about me:

I'm 25 and have two monsters (my little girl lana who's 2 and son joshua who's 5) I sold my own business to look after my monsters but with them both going to school/ nursery i have alot more time on my hands.

I'm doing a ORC bookkeeping level 1 at wolverhampton college and also a course with skillstrain.

so that's me!

Long term I hope to start my own business doing ...... bookkeeping just waiting for the market to pick up abit and have a bit more experience.

Hi Keith and welcome. I only joined the forum this week and everyone is so friendly and helpful so you will be comfortable here I am sure! I'm in Coventry so not far from your neck of the woods but being a Spurs man I'm not sure I talk to anyone with a Wolves connection!!!
I seem to be getting plenty of work around here so I'm sure once you are up to speed with things you will be able to build a good business.

Good luck!

Hi Keith,

Welcome to the forum.

As Rob says we're mostly friendly... Bill and myself did turn on a spammer like a couple of rabid dogs last week but that aside we're pretty harmless.

Lots of people in the same boat as yourself on here. Hope that you made the most of the snow today. Took my boy tobogganing on the Chase. (At Milford). Oh yes, I'm over at Cannock. We've also got LaShel bookkeeping (Lisa) whose a regular local contributor here as well. She's from across the other side of Hednesford.

Hey, think that we're getting together a community to rival Bill and the South West Posse!

Anyway, lots of info on here over the last couple of weeks related to starting ups, training providers, career direction, etc. Have a read and we'll happily fill in any gaps.

kind regards,

Shaun.

Hi Keith

Welcome to the forum. I also have two little monsters that keep me busy when they're not at school/nursery!

Kind regards

Hi Keith

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your goal, I am sure that you will achieve it.

My Dad is a Wolves fan so I know what you are going through, and I am now not going to be talking to Rob as I have just seen who he supports oh well and there was I thinking I might use his companys telephone answering service when I do eventually get a break away.

Regards

Mark

Rob H, hope you don't mind me asking, what is that next to you in the pic, I am been looking at it closely and look like a dog crossed with a rabbit!. I'm curious to what it is, maybe I need glasses lol!

Hi Lorraine,

In one of Robs other emails he said that it was a dog... But I'm with you, I thought that it was a rabbit as well. Looks like we'll need a double eye test.

Alternatively, there was a case a couple of years back where in Japan some unscrupulous business person was selling sheep to unsuspecting punters as a form of poodle!

I think maybe the question to Rob should be "Does your dog like lettuce?".

talk soon,

Shaun.

My enigmatic pooch! I'm sure if you met Flopsy, I mean Misty you would not mistake her for a bunny! She is a cross between a greyhound and a pointer and I think there may be a little border collie in there too. In the picture I am fussing her head, and you may see a brown thing below, that's her collar and below that is her body!! May I suggest you go to Specsavers together as it's buy one get one free!!!

Evening Bill,

Well, at least it's much less worrying than Peasie's "puppy" with the stockings and suspenders!

Hope you're not trying to move in on Sue and Lorraine with pictures of cute furry animals!

Looks like a home photo. Is it actually one of yours?

Shaun.

Her name name is No.8 (she a biological asset and its the number painted on her at birth) so she just ended up being called that.

Unfortunately she is not mine, but belongs to a friend (I have tried to kidnap her).

Having been bought up on a sheep farm, I find Peasies pic strangely aluring!!

Shaun "All's fair ......." as thet say.
