Book-keepers/Accounts Assistant jobs & candidates personal credit history

If someone goes for a book-keeping/Accounts assistant type job- will a past adverse credit history be a problem?
Assuming the persons problems have long since been overcome and actually resulted in a person (who having dealt with that awful situation as a young adult) has grown into a mature adult who is now fantastic with managing thier own money and able to manage a businesses cash flow & accounts impeccably for 4 years.
Not me of course.

Hi,

You - sorry your friend ! - is OK to apply for these types of jobs, no checks are made on your personal credit history.  Any checks that a prospective employer may make would only be on your employment / education history.

Julie
