I have always found Moneysoft to the best payroll software. If you do a search on the forum you'll find lots of previous conversations on this subject.

Yep Moneysoft for me as well. Brightpay is liked by a lot of people as well, but I consider it too expensive. It does however, have a much better interface and a few more bells and whistles.

Moneysoft, although it looks basic, has a lot under the hood and has stood me well for the past 9/10 years.

PS:  I'm not implying 12pay isn't good software now.  I also use Taxfiler, which was taken over by the same conglomerate, and so far it's still a decent product.

Also, lets not forget 12pay which is the one that I use... Not much as I only run my own payroll but I find it easy, robust and with all the functions that I need.

Most of these come with free trials so instal all of them and see which one you like.

Shaun.

*Cough*   that's a 4 letter word beginning with I Shaun biggrin

Not used it for years, but was a good product when Tom had it.  Only changed because CIS was a bolt on you had to pay for whereas it was included in Moneysoft.

PS: I'm not suggesting 12pay isn't a good product still.  I also use Taxfiler, which was taken over 3 years ago by the same conglomerate, and I've no complaints so far  (even with the price hikes!!)

Another vote for Moneysoft here, indeed very complete package. Brightpay is great too with a very nice and more modern user interface.
Are you using QuickBooks online or desktop? If online you could opt for their payroll add-on to streamline things.
