Book Keeping Business for Sale South West UK

Hi All, complete newbie to the forum!

I am looking to sell my Book-keeping business, established 2005 as a sole trader, and then went Limited in 2014. Registered for VAT.    Client base is 14/18, some Limited, others Sole traders.  Book-keeping activities involve VAT returns, Payroll, CIS returns, Self assessment returns, year ends to TB.   Clients are seen weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly.  The top 5 clients income ranges from £4k - £25k, with the average of £7k per company pa. I would  really like a thorough handover of clients as their relationships are very important, and this is a business whereby I look after their day to day needs, rather than just ploughing through bundles of paperwork, its a real two way relationship that i have built up over many years (all customers have been with me for 5-15 years) and I would be grateful for that relationship and trust to continue.

All processed via Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll , but clients are happy to use whatever software is available as they don't have back office Sage software themselves, its just that Sage is my preference.

Turnover circa £75K, with net profits at £65/68K.   Looking for offers in excess of £65k.  Location is Dorset/Hampshire borders.

I am selling due to relocation (500 miles away) , whereby I will not be able to visit clients regularly and fulfill my duties.

Hi
Interested but a couple of initial basic questions.

What are you selling. Shares? Or goodwill and fixed assets? Transfer of sage? % of repeat business on SAs?

How long have the top 5 clients been with you and what notice period are they on?
