Death of a director?

Evening all. I am in the rather unfortunate position of having to process the death of one of the directors of a limited company that I do bookkeeping for. Any tips on things I should remember to do? I will ensure that Companies House is updated, and the director was not on the payroll so I am hoping that the only items I need to do are administration related E.g. companies house

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

You should check out answers with reference to the legal position
