COVID-19 - more legislative changes

Just a heads up of changes planned/annouced:-

- amendment to insolvency law to help companies keep trading whilst they explore options for rescue

- Wrongful trading provisions temporary suspension

- AGM rules relaxtions

- relaxed rules on alcohol duty

- relaxtion of some import barriers for essential tools (without compromising safety)

Some may apply to your clients

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

You should check out answers with reference to the legal position
