we've had others here recently stating that they are doing surveys for their university courses whilst actually in the pay of cloud software companies.

The issue here of course is that you have appeared. We do not know you and you are asking people to go off site to fill in a form.

Is this another case where people try to be helpful and then get carpet bombed with cloud software sales calls.

If like Rafal you had done your studies whilst involving the site this is something that I may have allowed but as you are unknown and have appeared asking for help with your first post which also guides people offsite to complete forms I cannot allow that and as such has removed the link.

If you are genuinely interested in peoples views on cloud software everything that you need to know for your HNC is in this thread:

I understand the concern about people who have tried to pursue others to take a survey (mostly if they earned money with that). My request was innocent, and do apologise if I disturbed someone with this.

Thanks anyway, anyone who took part and gave feedback, (or leave a comment, even if it was nonsense) it was constructive criticism. As it is my first survey related to accounting, I have only tried to create relevant questions to this subject.
It won't be my last survey; however, I'll never share a single one here. (don't worry)

You should have asked the forum's permission 1st, might have had a better reception!      Plus spent a little more than a few minutes actually looking at the site once you registered.

You need to also think out your questions better - it was not a constructively put together survey. Plus if you are going to create and launch a survey, ensure your English is correct. I understand that English MAY not be your first language, but its not very professional to have wrong tenses in there.  Someone else should have checked it before you launched it.

Oh and learn some forum ettiquette - its not good form to delete a post just because you do not like the answers, extremely childish.

First of all, the only reason that I removed the survey is it was not permitted, so I decided it is better if I remove.
Furthermore, if your view was that my survey has not appropriately structured, designed, whatever.. then why did you take time to go over of it? All the questions had proofread, with recommended questions.

I only ask a single question; otherwise, I have already gone through with other topics as well here. I always follow the forums "netiquette".

Once again, as I mentioned, thank you for your thoughts and remark.

Apart from my survey, which we had already discussed, may I have a question related to the following topic?
/Please, only answer if you want to./

1. How could you describe your experience/thoughts of using the accrual basis of accounting software?
2. What is your opinion of Cloud Accounting (SAGE, XERO, etc.)?

Many thanks to all your reply.

the moderator had already removed your link.

no external links  allowed without permission. You didn't get permission, otherwise the moderator would not have removed it.

Use the link the moderator did include for some answes to your questions and have a search for the other times it has been asked and answered in different ways.
