Watch out for this SCAM

Fraudsters have hijacked official Government communications to try and scam people. The first text is legitimate, the second is not

Is it not bad enough that we are all in unchartered territory at the moment in every aspect of life. To then have to deal with scammers, totally disgusting.

I am relieved that I can work alone, cocooned in the safety of my office away from stressed partner who`s daughter (step daughter to me) has finished uni for the year. He is in is garage finding anything and everything to do, I suddenly find soooo much backlog to deal with !!

To lighten the mood, I am face timing my daughters / grandchildren for a daily group dance. YMCA is a favourite at the moment, followed by Baby Shark (god help me). xx

Hi Girls

The first one is clever because the link, as written is a genuine link. The problem is whats been coded behind that link.

On a computer you can hover over the link and it will tell you where its going but you cant see that on a mobile

For example click on this link and youll think you're going to the Gov website. Only you're not.  (Link is safe)

Think I vaguley recall that one John.

The scammers will always stay in their cess pits and find new ways to con folk Julie. If they spent as much effort applying themselves to real work they could possibly be just as successful. Round them up and stick them in a Covid-19 infected island would be too good for them.

Im liking the idea of a daily dance group. Ive just been invited to a cocktail party (virtual obviously) only the party organiser said it was 6am! Im all for that, just stayed pie-eyed all day. Ive got tons of backlog if you want some, Im absolutely fed up with it all. Finally managed to get 30 minutes in the sun with my book, but only because I told all my clients to do one (in my head, obviously).

Keep smiling, dont let the scammers, self absorbed, self obsessed, greedy takers get you down.
