Dividend date query for Self assessment

Hope you can help.

Dividend confirmation shows interim dividend 'payable to holders on 22 March 2019'  and 'payable date 30 April' from PLC with y/e 31 Dec.

what year tax return does this go on?

would it be different if it was a final dividend rather than interim?

This not from CT point of view but self assessment.

There is no tax difference between a final or interim dividend. That is more of a presentational issue by the companies. The tax point is when the dividend is payable (ie 30th April). If it is a listed company when the stock is normally held in a nominee name that will be the date of receipt into the broker's client account.
