Golf

Does this mean Ive made it?  Ive just been invited to an Accountants Golf Day?!!!!!

Apparently not as a caddy, which was what I used to suggest to an old boss of mine when he played, albeit that was just to get a day off from work and to get sloshed at the 19th.

For some reason a golf trolley has appeared in my hall....my son seems to think my house is an overflow/dumping ground!  Still got all his Uni stuff so perhaps he is right!

Much rather have a footy invite!   (to the Theatre of Dreams of course).

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

 Hi Joanne

Are you sure it says Golf Day and not a day out in the Gulf?

Afternoon Doug
Oh, I must read that again. That might be more appealing, although not really a place that has appealed to me before!

Im a Caribbean lover and was looking it again for next year, but looks like I may have to change my plans - what horrendous devastation out there, with another cat 5 storm causing chaos as we speak. Feel for all the locals, especially the poorer sections of those islands who are mostly fabulous people who would give you the shirt off their backs, despite having very little to start with!

Yes it is terrible what is happening out there

I live in Wales and all I do is moan about the rain but it certainly puts things into perspective when you watch what is happening elsewhere

Im close to the rainy city (Manchester) and on the edge of the pennines (so get all sorts of freakish weather). Its why we live in green places!   But I cant get over the number and strength of the hurricanes out west over the last couple of weeks!
