Exemptions on ACCA with a NHC Level 4

Hello!

Does anyone know how many exemptions can you get from a business-finance HNC Level 4 in ACCA??

Thank you so much!

Hi Conxi,

I'm hoping that you missed the word accounting pout of the HNC's name as the one that you need is the HNC BUSINESS (ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE PATHWAY) LEVEL 4 DIPLOMA which will give you exemptions from :

F1 - Accountant in Business
F2 - Management Accounting
F3 - Financial Accounting

The ACCA have an exemptions database that can be found here :

www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/help/exemptions-calculator.html

The institute that you need to enter for English and Welsh HNC's is Edexcel. For Scotland it's SQA (You don't say where you took the HNC).

Personally I advise against taking exemptions from early ACCA papers as they are a good way of easing your way into the ACCA mindset before the steep learning curve of subsequent papers (ACCA tend to ask as much between the lines as written on the paper!).

Good luck with your studies,

kindest regards,

Shaun.
