Job Description

The role of Financial Controller at Oakland Farms Soultions is an all encompassing role. It is a pivitol role within the business and will oversee the growth as well as the financial integrity of the business.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to have an impact on a growing business. It will be a hands on role and have a large scope of responsibilities.
Having overall responsibility for the finance function duties will include but are not limited to:
 

• Overseeing accounts receivable - maintain customers in SAP and monitor overdue accounts
• Supplier Management - establish credit terms and negotiate pricing with suppliers. Establish and maintain labor pricing schedule.
• Accounts Payable - match PO to receiving docs on a daily basis. Oversee payment of all invoices. Maintain vendors in SAP.
• General Finance and Accounting - Manage chart of accounts, oversee all entries into SAP, maintain weekly sales tracking, supply audit information.
• Manage month end process - create reporting pack.
• Inventory accounting - conduct monthly inventory with each co-packer, monthly inventory reconciliation, weekly reject tracking, identify waste
• VAT reporting
• System and process improvement
• Management of one staff

The Successful Applicant

You should be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with a track record of system and process improvement.
Experience in FMCG, warehousing and stock control would be an advantage.
You will need to be a self starter and be able to demonstrate experience of working alone and showing initiative when it comes to system and process improvement

What's on Offer

The salary on offer for this role is £45,000 to £50,000 plus benefits.
