Based in Hammersmith, the Senior Financial Accountant position will take responsibility for managing four direct reports within the finance department and will be charged with supporting and guiding these employees within Pernod Ricard's current framework. They will run all of the reporting and procedures, have full responsibility for balance sheet analysis and control whilst ensuring all accounts and statements are maintained in accordance with IFRS. With the use of Oracle and Hyperion they will also manage the European consolidation. 

A hugely important part of the Senior Financial Accountant role focuses on treasury and cash management across the business and the successful candidate must be well versed on all areas relating to cash flow, cash forecasting and budgeting, in a multi currency environment. You will combine strong technical skills with commercial acumen and a desire to positively impact the operations of the business.

Who we're looking for

Overall the Senior Financial Accountant role will suit someone with a strong hands-on accounting background, most likely an ACA or ACCA qualification and exposure to cash management within their current role. The strong interaction needed with other departments and local operations of Pernod Ricard will demand that candidates have good communication skills and are at home in a fast paced and dynamic business.
