VAT Calculation


Hi Guys, can any one tell me how to consider VAT in below case. There is Yahoo invoice with following details - Sub Total £10.08,VAT (19.00%) £1.91 and Total Charge £11.99.

No, I have  been billed from this address Yahoo! Netherlands BV Herengracht 466/2, Amsterdam 1017 CA, Netherlands

Unless you are also in the Netherlands this is an overseas purchase albeit in the EU. I believe you will need to deal with this on the reverse charge scheme. Take a look at the HMRC VAT website here
