Sage 50 Payroll

Hi

I have been asked by a client to process their payroll, which I want to do on Sage payroll.  They have had over 10 employees this year.

If I buy the software myself under my company name, will I still be able to show the clients name as the employer, without buying a bureau licence?

Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris

Yes, provided that you enter the clients details in on the company & hmrc settings

But looking to the future, are you likely to need to do more Sage payroll for other clients

Mark

Hopefully!

Also, do you know how much it is, or if it is possible, to just buy the annual updates instead of buying the support?

If not, does the basic support include the updates, or would I have to buy the Sagecover "extra"?

Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris

If bought directly from Sage , Sage 50 payroll would cost £265 + vat. The basic sagecover would include all updates.

You may be able to purchase it from an authorised reseller for less than this.

Regards

Mark
