GETTING THE FIRST BOOKKEEPING POSITION

Hello Everyone,

I am writing in regards to obtaining my first accounting related position. I am a certified public bookkeeper and is interested in obtaining a position related to my certification. However, most of the positions I have viewed require experience. Is there any way that I can land a position as a clerk, or bookkeeping assistant to begin my career? If so, where and how is the most effective way to conduct my search for a position?

Thank You in advance! I deeply appreciate it!

Hi,

You could try some of the recruitment agencies, see them in your local yellow pages or they might have branches in your local town. Call in or phone them and supply your CV, qualifications etc.

Good luck,
Steve.
