New Customer - Hooray !

Just needed to share this with someone, anyone out there,  as my dear hubby is away on work and is not able to take any calls.....  boo hoo !

I have been offering my bookkeeping services to a prospective client for the past month  F.O.C.  - he spoke to me earlier today to congratulate me on a job well done and wants me to carry on with the good work, this time it will be paid.  Also, he has asked me to organise some direct mailing.

I was very apprehensive at offering bookkeeping FOC for a trail period.  Depending upon the amount of work involved I either offered for a week, fortnight or month period and thought I was taking a huge gamble, thinking that a client would only use me for the free period.  But, it has paid off and I am so relieved.

Just thought I would share this good news !!

Congratualtions Julie. I always find it a huge buzz getting a new client to sign up with me. Well done, it's shows taking a punt and offering your services for free can work. Now you can start getting paid!! biggrin

Congratulations!

As the new client is quite happy and you will certainly be upbeat and positive, now might be a good time to ask for a testimonial letter... and with any luck some referrals!

It's a great reflection on your ability, and your dealing with clients.
