how to keep books for a voluntary run toddler group

I have just started ICB level 1 and understand about using ledgers and debiting and crediting amounts. I have become treasurer for a toy library (toddler group) which is voluntary run. We are only open once a week, so there are very few transactions. Just Bank, Cash, Petty Cash, Toy rental, Tea and coffees sold, members, stationary, supplies, toy purchases.
Just trying to find easiest way to record these transactions, they aren't shown to anyone, so don't need to do end of year or anything, its just for our records. I have looked into analysis books but they all seem a little confusing to me at present. The easiest way I can see is just to create ledgers account for each of the accounts, just seeing if there are any templates out there before I try and create my own.
