transfer of hand written books to sage?


Hi anyone, i simple but probably dumb question. I have been keeping a family members hand written books and am still doing so.  But im recently ICB sage qualified and am using these books to gain practicle experience.  I have the bank bal as of the 1st of april, but one day later a lump sum of cash is paid into the account from cash sales in March, how do i record this?

If you've already posted total takings to the cash account, you would simply do a transfer (or journal) from the cash account to the bank account.
