I need to create a simple checkbox that has true false outputs

I hope someone can help? One of my clients has asked me to create a simple checkbox in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that has true false outputs. Really not sure how to go about doing this?

Hi Parker, I will try to help. It’s pretty simple (when you know how!). Do the following:

In the Excel worksheet-
Choose View>Toolbars>Forms
Click on the Check box tool, to select it
Click on the worksheet, where you want the checkbox
With the check box selected, choose Format>Control (on the top menu bar)
On the Control tab, enter a cell address in the Cell Link box
Click on the worksheet, away from the check box, to deselect it
Click on the check box, and a TRUE will appear in the linked cell

This should keep your client happy!
