Whats the difference between accounting for total spent on capital aloowance i.e tools, after profits calculated rather than including them as a business expense before profits are calculated? Surely the total profits will be the same done either way. Am I missing something!!

Hi There Is it correct that, as bookkeepers we should register as Data controllers because of the Data Protection Act. I understand that there is an annual fee of £35.00. I have heard of registereing with MLR before but not Data protection. Can anyone advise? many thanks Gerry
