I was just wondering if anybody could offer me any advice. I'm sorry if this isn't in the correct section of the forum.
I am soon to be level 4 AAT qualified, along with having a few years of both practice and industry experience. Due to a change of circumstances I am looking in to becoming a self employed book-keeper. I appreciate it can take a while to build a client base, however I will be running it along side something else so I will only be looking for a few clients.
Is there any advice that anybody can offer me? I am going in to this rather blind. Ideally I have two sectors in mind, one of which I have a lot of background knowledge in.
Hi.
Become a member of the IAB with your qualifications. AAT level 3 gets you MIAB. Get your MLR cover through the IAB. When you've X amount of experience, apply to become a AAT member in practice. The rest is a mine field... :)
