Just a note for all that posting email addresses in forums is a very bad idea as many scanning programs exist to lift these and use for spamming etc.
If you must post rather than PM (don't know if this site supports PM), then substitute "@" symbol with word "at" (i.e. lewis"at"sbsbusinessservices.co.uk) as this confuses scanning programs.
Moderators - does this site support Private Messaging???
No PM facility on the forum. I have posted my email address many times here without issue. Spam is just a fact of life (like junk mail and sales calls when you're at your tea).
actually, there is a PM facility dependant upon your site settings.
Go to the email visible to other users in settings.
I use the "No, accept email annonymously" so my address is not out there unless I choose for it to be but people can still PM me.
A couple of times I've been hit with questions off site that were purely technical and had to tell the posters that they need to post on the site for me to answer them (whats the point in a site to help all if the answers are only enjoyed by one).
The facility as I see it is only for things that you would not want to be written on the site.
Its a useful feature where people have misunderstood the sense of humour on the site and also there have been a couple of instances of site bullying and off site harrassment by a training provider that needed to be resolved. (No. wild horses will not drag out of me which one but suffice to say it was all sorted out ammicably).
HTH,
Shaun.

For instance Forum Information, Rules, News, Suggestions & Updates! Welcome to The Book-keepers Forum! Professional Book-keepers in Practice Book-keeping Training, Qualifications and Professional Bodies
all have different stickies in them.

So far there the Ratio's heirarchy and that's it. So doesn't warrant becoming a sticky at the current time.
I could add enough useful information to make it one but that's like making the forum a one man show rather than a collective effort.
kind regards,
Shaun.
